Racist Caricature Reposted By Elon Musk on X Nominated For 13 Academy Awards

LOS ANGELES — Emilia Pérez was nominated for 13 Academy Awards earlier this week, including Best Picture. The film, a very faithful adaptation of a racially insensitive “wojak” initially created by user @hitlercatholeanus and later reposted by tech oligarch and big diaper baby Elon Musk, follows the story of a lesbian transgender Mexican cartel leader, her lawyer, and Selena Gomez saying a bunch of slurs.
Musk said he was inspired to repost the image after another long night of crying himself to sleep over Grimes leaving him for a trans woman. “Listen, I’m sure @hitlercatanus is a great, anti-woke, dark MAGA guy. I can’t speak for the rest of his beliefs, I’m just a middle man here.” Musk also added that he would like an Oscar to “pee on like Kanye did, if possible.” When asked for comment by White Millennial with Economic Concerns Quarterly, @hitlercatholeanus himself , said the wojak was inspired by his “hatred for those ****ing *****s ****** and their ***** **** **** ******************** ***** *** *****.”
Though hailed as a “Top 10 Most Politically Coherent and Sound and Definitely Not Super Racist Film of All Time” by French People Daily, Mexican critics are a bit more skeptical. “I mean, I appreciate being represented and all,” said one twitter user @femtops4conclave, “but I was a little put off by the post credit scene of the entire cast and crew chanting ‘build the wall.’”
CEO Ted Sarandos defended the company’s decision to distribute the controversial film: “Listen, as a proud American I am obligated to declare Elon Musk is our almighty god king, Hail Elon, and if he wants to call it the Gulf of America or win Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar for having Selena Gomez call a 50 year old Spanish woman the d word for lesbians, we’re just going to have to immediately bend to his demands, hail Elon.” The film’s star Karla Sofia Gascon also reportedly attempted to defend Musk last week, but was stopped by an ancient hex she herself unleashed by invoking the name of an archaic evil force in a now deleted tweet.
