The Tonight Dough Prices Surge as People Confuse Jimmy Kimmel with Jimmy Fallon
By Pablo Rodriguez
LOS ANGELES, CA – The price of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream flavor The Tonight Dough has started skyrocketing as worried customers fear that the flavor might be discontinued after ABC announced it was cancelling Jimmy Kimmel’s show.
Ben and Jerry’s aficionados, or losers who spend too much time watching TV past 10 p.m., might be quick to point out the issue here: Kimmel and his show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, have nothing to do with The Tonight Dough. The flavor is instead named after your uncle’s favorite SNL cast member and his late night program, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “I don’t know how people could confuse us. Even though we share similar names and shows,
we have very unique styles and humor,” said Fallon or maybe Kimmel.
“When they cancelled Colbert I was like ‘ok I can do this, Stephen Colbert’s AmeriCone Dream is kinda mid anyways’” said Janine Adler. “But when they cancelled Jimmy, I got pissed.” After explaining the difference between Kimmel and Fallon to Adler, she refused to give any further comment and walked away eating a pint of The Tonight Dough worth at least $127.
In other news, Guillermo from Jimmy Kimmel Live! has announced a new ice cream flavor in collaboration with Häagen-Dazs; Guillermo’s Grand Guava.
