This Semester is Sponsored by Polymarket

LOS ANGELES, CA – After decades of only being able to monetize 98% of student life, USC has partnered with the world’s largest prediction market, Polymarket, in hopes to make this semester more engaging and profitable. All members of the USC community will now be able to legally bet on sports, politics, and daily life wherever they want, whenever they want.

“It’s amazing. I put money down on another Leavey bomb threat and made $20!” said student Peter Winston, who also revealed that he made $100 betting on “which sorority pledge-class would be the most chopped.”

Polymarket has seeped into faculty life as well, Professor Todd Frederickson says. “I bet $30 on my student Jemma failing her syllabus quiz, and guess what? She actually failed it! What a dumbass!” Fredrickson then fist pumped the air.

Polymarket also announced they’re honoring predictions made before the partnership was officially announced. In fact, I predicted I would write this article three months ago, so I just won $45. Nice. Unfortunately, all good things come at a price, as 98% of personal earnings from the sponsorship will be sent back to the University to fund Lincoln Riley’s new 40-year contract.
